Combining them may not be a good idea - but it'll save me time.
Didn't mean to rile, Calendula - just didn't want anyone to rely upon me for Comfrey.
1. Feeding cheaply. It's almost impossible to compare brand prices. Each has its own dilution & frequency rate. Compared with Tomorite, which is (typically) £4 for 2500ml giving 500l feed, 'apply twice a week', I buy Vitafeed in semi-bulk from BHGS - includes 6 Trace Elements - £2.50 gives me 1000l for an everyday feed.
2. Watering. So we have quotes of 1500ml per plant - 1136ml per plant - against my 750ml, or in a decent summer, 1000ml per plant. At least twice that if very hot.
We all seem to make out, but it must be very confusing for the newcomer?
