Introducing Jim
« on: August 12, 2007, 09:08:49 »
A border collie - 10 weeks old.

Shot with FinePix E510 at 2007-08-12

Not mine but my son and daughter-in-law's. He already knows his name and comes when called - (Jim, that is, not my son) - and he's just adorable!

Ah... bet Jim will be a bundle of mischief. According to a lady we knew who bred borders they are very energetic so hope your son is ready for lots of walks :)

he's just gorgeous - my favourite breed of dog

has he really got one blue eye and one a different (not quite sure of colour from here) or is that a trick of the camera?

Lorna - son and d.i.l. already walk their legs off - Jim is their third dog! They already have a border collie b itch, (a rescue dog called Rosie), and an elderly lurcher. Rhiannon (d.i.l.) does obedience training so they're really well-behaved. Here's a snap of her with the mob.

Yes, HP - Jim really does have one bright blue eye! Makes him look so cute! Funnily enough, although they're not related, Rosie does too! You can just see it in the pic above if you look closely.

They all play together beautifully -  and the big lurcher is SO gentle with the puppy - it's lovely to watch them.  (But puppy-tummy-tickling and cuddling is best!)
