Tonight I discovered my first actual cauli ! I sowed the seed last Sept in trays in greenhouse cos we'd only had allotment couple of months and spent all that time clearing and sorting. All Year Round cauli was one thing I could try at that time (according to packet). Well poor things survived winter in there, eventually got planted out in dead of winter (can't remember exactly when). They were fine for a bit, then turned a strange red colour. The worry I've had over these bloomin caulis. Then today Hooray - success. It's big enough to eat now ;D (No sign of others curding yet, but I'm so happy. I've taken a photo, but not yet accomplished in the art of publishing!
Sorry for raving on, but I've hear cauli's are hard to grow, so I'm chuffed.
