Topic: Chinese Red Noodle Bean

HI Guys,

I am being tempted by http://rareseeds.com and have been thinking about picking up the following

LG109  - Chinese Red Noodle Bean
ON102  - Texas Early Grano 502
TM127  - Pantano Romanesco 
TM132  - Riesentraube 
TM159  - Weeping Charley 

In perticular i was wondering if anyone has grown the Chinese Red Noodle Bean and has any advice??

the noodle bean is a variety of cow bean, a tropical plant. It might struggle here in the UK. Looks pretty though

I'll be ordering from them next year, beans and squash probably

I have grown the red noodle, it needs an exceptionall long growing season I found, did well for me three years ago but it would have been useless here this year. Cam, I buy a lot of stuff from this company, they are excellent by the way, very cheap shipping, I shall be ordering from them later in the year XX Jeannine

Oi! Cam 7 and Jeannine - stop ganging up on me, you two!

I made two orders but only sent one - thought I'd wait to see how it goes first before unleashing the other one on them. The first is quite sedate - a couple of things I've tried before and a couple I just fancied - particularly the Trifetta chilli which looks gorgeous - the foliage, flowers and fruit!

Melons - Minnesota Midget, Tigger, Collective Farm Woman
Watermelon - Golden Midget
Cucumber - Richmond Green Apple
Kiwano (African Horned Cucumber)
Squash - Buttercup, Sweet Dumpling
Chilli Pepper - Trifetti
Ipomoea - Moon Flower

The total order before I split it came to about $50, including postage (I'll say one thing for the US, they know how to run a cheap postal service). With the exchange rate, that's about 25 quid. The prices for individual packets on the whole were much cheaper than sites here offer - and for bigger seed quantities, too. Ker-CHING!

but u could pack a few spares and sell on ebay which could pay 4 you seed habbit!
