rotton apples

 :'(   I noticed this morning 2 completely rotton apples on my coxs tree, they just fell off when i touched them. The rest seem to be fine, any ideas please.?.

Probably a bit of brown rot.. if they got damaged by birds or bashing a sharp branch that would let it in and it does well in wet weather... if it is only two I wouldn't worry about it!

Get rid of these rotten fruit as soon as you see them, otherwise they just form a reservoir of infection.
