Manic. They look lovely, so healthy. My efforts of growing sunflowers have been a total disaster. (Josh did sow the seeds) We had a weekend of terrific wind and rain and the leaves just turned brown and looked terrible. Have to try again next year.

the last one's a self seeded one, lorna..hope you have better luck next year
if you need some seed, let me know and I'll send some when they dry out  :)

They look great, manics- the birds will love you! Any tips for success? Did you sow direct or start off inside?

started off in rootrainers and planted out with 2 ltr pop bottle collars around them with a small stake..the ones the slugs don't get do well..the self seeded did better  ;D
