Mytton,Dignity in extremis.
« on: August 03, 2007, 11:19:23 »
This may well be the last picture of Mytton. she is very sick now. she cannot keep food down. We are hoping for the best, but the chances are small.

Aw poor kitty  :(

I had a cat a few years ago who licked a freshly creosoted fence and was ill for the rest of her life (about 4 years), but as long as we didn't let her get hungry before feeding her she was fine and didn't bring it back up.

It's sad, but at least you know she's ready to go... Cleo just went away one day and didn't come home so I think she found a quiet place to end her days.  :'(

Awww Eric, we are all going to miss Mytton and her antics when she is gone.  Thinking of you at this difficult time.

Eric from your posts I know that you truly love this cat. I also know that you won't let her suffer. She has provided us with so much laughter with her posing on posts. One cat to be remembered.

Mytton is still hanging on. We have been 'drip'' feeding her a teaspoonful at a time. She managed to keep most if it down, yesterday, but today she has failed even that small amount. Vets again tomorrow.
Hannibal is much the same as ever, still limping whenever anyone is watching.
