First ever sunflower.

Our first experience of growing sunflowers was when our granddaughter brought one home from school that she had grown from seed.It was attacked by something & I posted a question about it
here
.
It has now flowered & MBW (My Beautiful Wife) asked whether it now stops growing. Can anyone enlighten me on that? :)

Depending on the variety it may put out side shoots with smaller heads..
Cutting Varieties are developed for that but "giants" have the tendancy as well. The head will hold for up to a month as well!
;D
Well done..
