I've just moved onto an allotment in Kings Heath - South Birmingham
where can i get a trailer load of horse manure delivered to site?

look in the local paper and phone around.  Try stables first as they usually can't get rid of it.  Usually it is better to leave the manure for a season to rot, but check to see as you might be lucky enough to get the good stuff that you can use straight away.  I have just bought about a ton for £40 and it is fine to use now.

By the way, if you do leave it a season make sure that it is on some plastic or weeds will grow through it, also keep it wet and cover it up otherwise you will have a weed pyramid!
