Rhubarb.

Not sure if this goes here but it is cooking related  ;) I am about to harvest my rhubarb to make wine with it. Now i won't have enough this year so i intend to freeze it, looking on the web i have read it will keep frozen for six months/ one year. Which one is more likely and has anyone kept their frozen rhubarb for any length of time ?
