mine is a plot in Southminster ( near Maldon and Chelmsford ) its at pantile hill cant remember the number!

i see where you are old lakenham i know it well use to work round that way ,also use to know a guy with a plot there to dont know if he still got it his name is allen spooner,red head, lol

sorry mark45, I missed this! yes, at the lakenham baths site opposite city hall. there are over 70 plots and most are now taken - the allotment officer got a few derelict and overgrown sites cleared last year and they weren't empty for long! Allen Spooner doesn't ring any bells, but I've only ever met the same dozen or so plot holders with plots off the same path as mine. don't know mile cross or costessey so well, we used to live off thorpe road (by the mustard pot pub) but moved to lakenham a couple of years ago and I love living in norfolk :)
