Filling up the gallery!

So, tis raining, thank goodness, my seedlings will be growing like mad now, but I can't get to the allotment so wandered around the garden after a shower and took a few snaps. Hope you like them.
- double philadelphis, cut and in the house, smells wonderful!
- clove scented pinks, grown from seed.
- Full name, can't remember...something like sisiystrem (!!!)
- I love this verbascum, looks antique.
Achilea I think.
- digitalis lutea. Musch smaller than the big normal foxgloves, more delicate I think.
- Pelargonium grown from seed brightening up our porch. Funny really, the seeds I bought were salvias, and only pelargoniums germinated! :P
- lupins, grown from seed. Slug food in my garden :'(.
- lychnis.

EJ, I'm glad you took a tour around your garden as your photographs are gorgeous! :D That philadelphis is a 'must have' and the lychnis is sooo delicate and such a lovely, rich red.
Tim, your rose is a real beaut. - is Sharifa Asma scented?

David Austin says 'strongly scented'. Others say 'honey scented'.
I think it depends upon when & how you view it? Tim

EJ & Tim - lovely to see such pretty flowers. I have neglected my garden over the past couple of years (doing only the bare minimum) as been so tied up with my children. Seeing your pics is inspirational and I can feel my green fingers getting the itch to start gardening again. Thanks for sharing your growing success. :)

Beautiful photos Emma & Tim.
Hasn't rained here for ages, really need some natural rain to bring all the little plants on. Tap water just doesn't have the same effect.

Wonderfull pics EJ. Just a correction or two. the one you called Achillea isnt. Looks to me more like Oenothera (evening primrose) or maybe a potentilla (not sure :-\)
Hmm, Rain what IS that? Forgotten what it looks like. Fancy Essex, one of the drest counties in the country getting it and not Dorset (One of the wettest). Havent seen a drop here for weeks ::)

Lovely pictures both of you, I liked them all
I think the name you were looking for EJ is;
Sisyrinchium
...and I would say the flower you call Achillea is in fact a Potentilla

Full name of plant is Sisyrinchium striatum (or it was I have a feeling the name has been changed recently). the other yellow one is possibly Potentilla warrenii. The red Lychnis is chalcedonica (English name, Maltese Cross).
