What?
« on: July 14, 2007, 16:45:05 »
This is flowering in the Alpine House. I do not remember planting it and there is no label. I am 90% sure it is a bulb. The flower is about 2 cm across so quite big. Anyone any ideas?

Sorry, palustris, can't help with the ID, but what a beautiful, delicate flower.

Be good if one could have a lily of that colour and 3 inches tall!
No one seems to know. I think it is something which is flowering well out of season, like a Chionodoxa, usually seen in early spring. Self seeded there too!
