Perennial flowers changing colour?
« on: June 11, 2004, 09:36:46 »
This is bizarre.

Last year I planted a two-year-old [vital missing word here - 'campanula'}] which had white flowers. This year the same plant has rich purple flowers. I'm very happy as I much prefer purple to white!

And also a penstemon last year was a pale mauve. This year it's a bizarre pale blue and white.

Can a plant suddenly change like that? I'm very confused!  ???

edit coz i am an idiot!

Aqui, you planting 2 year old children in your garden now?!
We don't inherit the earth, we only borrow it from our children.
