Gooseberry Sawfly

My three bushes have been stripped in a week by the above ********!!!  I've seen the various advice on here, but one question remains - do I prune this year or not?

Dunno Wivvles...
I find that now I have a patch of Solomon's seal under my fruit trees they always go there in preference...
