Thankyou for voting for the bumblebee enjoying a teaspoon of marmalade. It had been stranded on the path for a while so I thought it could do with a pick-me-up...  ;D

Ah! Thanks. I'm still fiddling with the route around the gallery!

The winner? I couldn't agree more. That certainly is a good photograph. Not touched-up, the subject is easily recognised, the bee is 'working' and it's in focus. Nothing to workout or concentrate on to make sense of, it just speaks for itself.
A worthy winner.

Thankyou maties !

High praise indeed from the very people who's photographs I admire greatly!

It was an opportunity not to be missed. I set the camera on macro, lay on the floor ,with the camera on the floor to keep it steady and pushed the button.

Camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC FX50.  Not my choice as it was a xmas present. Not totally enamoured with it,still learning how to use it , but I do sometimes get a good picture.

Sarah I had forgotten about that little fox picture,it gave me a start when I saw it again. Couldn't believe it was mine !  Another lucky shot.  I've seen her since and she is doing alright. Still likes to sleep in the sunshine.

I don't know why your pic isn't there Angle'. There are others without a vote there.

This is well supported now. Maybe time to consider catagories.

                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
