6 years old & our first use of colour - 1969 & all dressed up for the Gala Day at Galashiels. Maybe I should take this pic to the hairdresser's tomorrow for inspiration - NOT.

Hiya Carol,

I still have my rosette, although I did chop one of the tail to tie round my case handle so I'd recognise it at baggage reclaim.

Sorry, won't be coming up this weekend, mum is too busy to see me - playing at a major bowls match in Ayr - Scottish Ladies Triples final I believe.

Was never too keen on horses anyway & have split loyalties - my uncle was Standard Bearer at The Cleikum so we used to support Innerleithen Games really.

Looking at that picture I realise gravity has dragged those chubby cheeks downwards & deposited them on my hips!
