Hi Wilko a lot of these brassica probs are down to the good old climate, wet n warm!!! But just looking in my book and the mottling between the veins begins with the older leaves and apparently could turn either orange white red or purple??? This could be caused by Magnesium deficiency,  try spraying the plants with a tonic (no gin) there used to something out there called Fillip.  You need to dig in compost during autumn digging.

I did dig in lots of well rotted manure in the autumn when I prepared the beds, but as nothing but grass has been growing there for the last fifteen years that I know of, maybe it is lacking nutrients,

will spraying them save them?

can they still be eaten  ???

I've got dahlias with leaves looking just the same - all crinkly & stunted - is it the weather?

I'd leave them in the ground, maybe giving them a feed boost might help??? Going to my allotment now will see what I have in my store. Will be back soon if  I can find anything of use.

The PSB looks as though it is 'blind' & won't grow on.

The Savoy? Everyday 'wear & tear'? Wouldn't worry me too much. Who needs perfection?

I think it is 'Downy mildew' caused by the recent cool wet spell following a hot spell.

Apparently it only affects young leaves which fits in with my situation.

The original leaves of my young plants are affected but the growth from the centre seem fresh and green so I am not particularly worried so I will just be leaving the plants to there own resources.

Check under the leaves - I think you have whitefly. No idea how to fix it though.

One whole row of our sprouts has them, while the next row has none......??
