« on: June 07, 2004, 21:20:45 »
I am so very excited!

My broccoli are now recognisable by their small but perfectly formed young heads.

I am a true veggie growing convert now ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

hi there i had a similar problem last year, them ruddy things ate all mine and left a few leaves at the bottom, i haven't done any this year though, never mind i have got 11 tomato plants to contend to so i dont worry. i still got some lovely tasty broccoli.

Debs - they need WATER if you can give it.

And, unless they are a variety that have tightly enclosing leaves, pull off a bottom leaf & cover the curd with it. Watch out for earwigs.

And steam it, or eat it raw!! = Tim
