FUNNY CHICKEN????
« on: June 17, 2007, 20:55:55 »
My chicken limps alot. I don't think that there is anything wrong with her feet or legs because we have had her checked. She starts to walk but flaps her wings and stumbles. The other Chickens pick on her so we keep her seperate, she lays eggs so she is not eggbound, she seems happy apart from she struggles to walk.

Hello Amberlove,

Is you chicken overweight? I have one prone to getting fat and she is a little wobbly on her legs but otherwise happy. Fortunately she doesn't get picked on so can stay with the others. I just have to watch that she doesn't grab all the titbits as she would if she could! You could try putting her one reduced rations and maybe a mineral supplement to be sure she's not lacking minerals.

Good luck, hope she recovers soon.
