Woodlice!!
« on: June 12, 2007, 14:45:32 »
I could have had some strawberries by now if the woodlice hadn't got to them first  :-[  There's no woody or leafy stuff they're just gorging themselves on my fruit. Has anyone any bright ideas of how to get rid of them?  ??? The only thing I've seen is ant and woodlice killer but I try and be organic and anyway it says not for use on foodstuffs.

Thanks

Same problem here, but some of the straws are laying on the path, the woodlice don't seem to bother with them. I am going to try putting them on straw and see if that makes any difference

We had woodlice problem on our tomatoes last year - they seem to be going for ripened fruit rather than old wood and stuff like they're supposed to - didn't seem to be anything I could do either, other than get there first
