little frogs

got lots of little frogs in the garden although there are lots of tadpoles still in the pond could they be the eldest of this years or the youngest of last?

I would imagine they are last years.Frogs do not grow that quickly.I have one that has been around at least 3 years and he is still quite small.Thetadpoles will not have changed into froglets yet,a bit early i would think.They are so vulnerable,aren't they? yet so so sweet!!

Ooo thank you for that info Margaret. I have little frogs about the size of the nail on my little finger. I presumed they were this years!

I got tiny ones still with little tails since at least 2 weeks ago. Depends where you are in the country I spose. It's Devon here so things are early.
Toadpoles are still swimming and no legs yet though.
