Digging make Si stupid..
« on: June 02, 2007, 20:24:02 »
So I spend several hours clearing and digging the plot in the heat.

Eventually decide I'm much too knackered to carry on so make for home.

Get to the allotment gates, unlock them, go through, close them behind me, lock them and go to get back in the car.

Only problem is that the car is still on the other side of the gate, door still open and engine still happily running.

D'OH  :-[

(don't think anyone saw me   ::))

Wasn't my week - also managed to stand on a rake and get whacked in the jaw by the handle as it leapt skyward  ::)

Oh well, at least I've got my first ever seeds into my new plot so I'm happy  :)

Must be catching, I moved my wheelie bin to the outside of the yard yesterday morning as the potatos in pots are taking over the yard.

Immediately forgot I'd done it, got into the car and reversed into the bins.  Broke the tail light cover £70 thank you very much.

<sigh>

Trying to think up a good story for colleagues.
is it in the sale?
