barnsdale meet!
« on: May 20, 2007, 05:16:54 »
could anyone tell me what pushchair access is like?
its looking like all the kind offers of midwifery skills wont be needed after all!
this morning at 3am.i was woken to be told that it looks like the new seedling is starting his/her journey to the big wide world!
we have to be at the hospital for nine this morning.............
looks like my plans for planting out the sweetcorn may have to be put on hold for at least a couple of hours.........lol
right............off to pack a bag.......and get stocked up with gardening mags and books!
btw..................
do ya think theyd mind if i took along a bag of compost..some pots and trays........and some long overdue plants that need potting on.............may as well make myself useful for a couple of hours.............before the wife starts shouting things( that no children should hear
) at me!..lol
will get back to you all as soon as!

rushes off to find lists, cases, and various baby arrival things!

Go for it,take the seed trays....bet you don't find time to use 'em.

Good luck and do please tell so we can rejoice with you.

A new baby at Barnsdale maybe, smashing.

What you sow ,you reap, takes a bit longer than lettuce though but worth waiting for.

sorry..................got a little tied up yesterday..............what an amazing day it was!
got there for nine as requested.............after two hours of examination and monitoring was told that labour had started................but that as it was slow and sporadic we could......if we wanted.......go home and await developments!
i was all for waiting there.but joanne wanted to be at home.
BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!
we got home about 12.30...............pains every 15 mins and one bad one with a little pain in between.............within twenty mins jo was rolling around the garden on this spacehopper thingy(the midwifes will know the proper name for it)and yelling at me to get her back to the hospital!
into car...............me driving......her sister in the front.....jo in the back.
as we drove thru town................jo was trying to climb out of the back window..........screaming "i wanna push"
got to hospital.....................1.20.........................baby born................1.50.....................
all is well.....................mum and baby are doing great....................and will be home today................

oh................im now the new dad to a little boy named cory john..........who entered this world as a 6lb 9oz lump of lovliness!
of course.i got photos..............but at the mo the camera is at the side of the fishtank theyve put cory in.......lol..........ill post later!
gotta go.....................im a bit busy....lol
