Peony
« on: May 30, 2004, 12:07:54 »
Just to prove that peony's dont really mind being moved.  This is a photo of a peony that moved with us two years ago. Before that it was in a pot for 18 months as well.  I dont know the variety (would be very interested if anyone knows) She is a beautiful pink on the day she opens and then fades to almost white over a few days.  I can only think of something this pretty as a 'she'. ;D

Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

What a cracker Mimi - absolutely gorgeous :) - and of course it could only be a 'she' :D Shame the flowers don't last longer.
Happy gardening all...........Pat

Dear MImi,

Aren't they sulky little plants!

Mine have just flowered after being moved about 12-18months ago but never fail with their showy blooms.
