Hi all, planted mid-March and they haven't flowered yet. To be truthful I wanted to get a taster before we went on holiday in case the worst happened while we were away! They were yummy though :-)

They were off the first 3 plants on the edge of the path , which I duly bedded down again and watered in, hence some tiddlies.

Just love the idea of a "thud" of butter. Like Jamie Oliver doing a squeeze of lemon or a slug of oil.

As a matter of interest, is a "big thud" merely double the size of a "thud" ?

In my kitchen a spud thud is about six times the size of a crumpet thud. Hope this helps.  ;)
