help - cloche newbie
« on: May 14, 2007, 12:54:05 »
Hi

I have been given a plastic cloche and wanted to know if i can use this to transplant some of my plants to the allotment and still give them some cover?

Idealy i need to move up swede which is getting way leggy now.

And then the following week i need to move up chinese cabbage, spinach, sprouts, celariac, wok brok and onions.

I am worried that i am forcing them out 2 early but dont have room to pop on all i have grown.

most've our stuff's in now, including sprouts, onions and beetroot, all without protection, swede were planted yesterday, chinese leaves are only just showing, second sowing, mind you..one of the blokes has his spinach in, no cover, so, I think it'll be ok..maybe cover to harden off ?  :)
