Pics too big.
« on: April 10, 2007, 11:01:30 »
When I try to put a picture on it says it took too long or my pic was too big. How do I make it smaller anyone? :'(

Hi,

If you resize them to 640*480, that is about the best size - the server software should resize them for you, but I'm guessing that your file size was very (very) large?

Could I ask how big the file you tries to upload was? Both in pixels, and in kb/mb?

Cheers

That is quite big!

If you use windows XP, try this powertoy,

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

It adds right click functionality to windows, right click a photo and resize it automatically.

Very quick, very easy!

I'll rephrase that lad,
Is that the 'repositry' in the corner?
Eskimo Nel was a great Inuit.

Mac,
If you take offence at being called 'lad', you're not from Yorkshire,
Right?
Eskimo Nel was a great Inuit.

That's to be one of the tidiest plots I've seen!

By the way, surely even in Yorkshire women prefer not to be called lad?
