yesterday on my allotment I was the only person on site.A fox wandered in followed closely by a magpie. As the fox wandered arround the bird followed him every inch of the way never more than ten feet from him. Has the magpie a nest near or were they just good friends.Have also just seen a moorhen nesting in the river close to my allotment, the nest has 5 eggs, may not be growing much at present but the wildlife is good, will post some pictures when they hatch.
