Would you plant out now as they are used to being outside in pots and they have about 4 leaves now?

I just put my Greyhound seed into a tray yesterday so I must be late, mind you I live in the North. Will it be okay?
I am new to all this and have been so busy tidying the plot that I seem to have got a bit late with the important stuff. so far, the only things I have planted out are Onions, potatoes and asparagus (which I know will be a few years getting going) I thought I would sow most of the things in the greenhouse first before planting out, except the carrots as I think they do not like being transplanted, according to the books that I have read. I have read up so much on stuff that my brain is addled!!! :)
