worm eating slugs
«

Can someone please tell me that I am not going mad.
Down the plot today we have been digging and unearthed lots of orangey/ yellow slugs. We disposed of them as we found them and thought nothing of it.
However on picking up one of them it was eating a worm ???
Have tried to Google this type of slug but to no avail...

They can be carnivorous. If you chop one in half others will happily eat it.

Could be
Tiger slugs which eat other slugs (and worms and invertebrates) so are mainly friendlies and should be nurtured :)
