Tesco are doing a set of 3 very cheap looking hand tools, a trowel and a thing for getting roots out and a sort of a fork for £1 - not sure how long they'll last, but at a price ok to leave on the allotment. Also doing handy pop-up bag, for £1, the sort that folds away to a circle, and that's handy for having by you to put prunings, dead leaves and light weeds in.
