Wild Asparagus 'Amarus'
« on: March 25, 2007, 20:27:49 »
Hi guys and gals,

last February I ordered some Wild Asparagus 'Amarus' form the Organic Gardening Catalogue, However Yesterday I receive a letter from the Organic Gardening Catalogue informing me that "The growers have inspected the field and regret that they have been infected by rot and are not fit for sale."

does anyone know of any other mail order sellers for this variety?

Regards
Dan

Seeds of italy have one described as wild asparagus.  Not sure if this is the same as the one you wanted... (Is there more than one sort of wild asparagus???)

I planted the Seeds of italy wild Asparagus this year too, it started to grow before I'd even got it in the ground, although no sign of it yet, not sure when to expect it to show it's head.
