Hobby,crafts & DIY
« on: March 16, 2007, 18:59:51 »
There was some discussion awhile back about wanting a topic area to include home DIY & hobbies and crafts in general on the A4A site. I suggested opening up a forum outside A4A for this. Well, I did it at
http://kengar.proboards101.com/
but in 3 weeks there's been next to no support so is there really an interest in those subject matters?
 No problem. I'll leave the site for a while and if it remains empty I'll kill it off. But it does show that calling for more topic headings in A4A outside the main subject matter isn't the way to improve A4A if there's not the support for it.
If anyone wishes to discuss or ask or answer a question outside A4A matters, please feel free to use this new forum.
(It's a 'kid-safe' forum and new topics outside those covered by A4A will be added on request.)

Hi kenkew, i remember the discussion a few weeks back regarding crafts etc, but wasn't aware that you had set up a site dedicated to that - hence i haven't supported it!  (Altho it could have been me missing your post advertising the board  :-\ )

Anyhow, thanks for reminding us all, hope to see you there soon

Hello Ken - just to say there's something the matter with the time clock thingy on your new site. It says I posted at 05.42 this morning  ???  ::) I promise you I didn't - I was still well dead at that time!  ;D

Well, from a no-start to a shockwave today....well, not quite, but it shocked me anyway and just as I was reaching for the plug.
Here's hoping between us we can answer a few simple and maybe not so simple non-A4A type queries.

Thanks for setting it up Ken, looks very smart.   :)

Just popped in & registered, I hope you do keep it running as I think it could be very useful - give it time & we will all try & recommend it to others.

Spreading out a little 'over there'...Seems we have an interest in personally witnessed UFO's sightings...OK, why not see what people have to say about what they saw. Make your own minds up. I've opened an area for that.
 Have you seen something down the plot on a winters night or have you had a sighting you just don't want to tell about, who can blame you...I've started writing just one of my experiences way back in '72 for the first time. Rubbish you say to all that? Well, that's why I've not mentioned it to anyone since then, people look at you as tho' you are crazy when you talk about 'lights in the sky, etc;
 I've started a true story of my first experience and I'll finish it. Maybe I'll tell about the other 'encounters' I've had.
How about yours? We're all ears...and antennas!
