Bargins at tesco
« on: March 13, 2007, 15:12:42 »
Hi Guys,

Popped out for a sandwich at lunch time and found the staff at local tesco busily moving the mothers day stuff up to fill the gaps and replacing it with garden stuff.

Just went a little mad!!

2.5m*8m fleese £1.50 ( so i got 2 )

A long handled tool with how on one side and 3 claws on other ( i think its called a cultivator ) 50pence!!!!

Grass seed - 50pence

one very large tub of slug pellets ( that are suppsed to work even after a shower ) £1

But the shelves where heaving with other stuff for 50pence and £1

Went to a huge tesco at catterick today. They dont appear to be selling any gardening bargains or gardening stuff of any sorts. Is it a selected few stores....

dropped by our tescos today - it has been reduced further and the fleece is now 0.75p (reduced from £3.00, then £1.50). Lets just say I stocked up ;)

Also had the weed suppressant packs for 0.50p.

Most of the other stuff int he section was full price and not reduced at all but will keep my eyes peeled :)

They always have stuff at Five Ways Birmingham. The other day I noticed some decent trowels going cheap, but I'm not looking for fleece as I have loads from the 99p shop.
