Duckling
« on: May 08, 2004, 13:44:26 »

Not as pretty as Budguebreeders. This was very weak so I had to wrap it in my hat to warm it up. Whether it will survive I do not know, but fingers crossed.

Where did you find it Eric and how are you going to look after it?  I wouldn't know where to start with a duckling.  What a cute little thing.
Happy gardening all...........Pat

We put 3 of our ducks eggs under a broody bantam, just to give her something to sit on and to see if she made a good brood mother. 2 of the eggs hatched, the third despite A.R did not survive hatching. This one somehow managed to get itself out of the nest and was very cold when I went to look. Update as of 6.10 pm. both are still alive and peeping.

Great, Eric, that's made my day after Chaz's experience.
