Why don't my piccies upload?
« on: February 22, 2007, 20:54:11 »
Help me please!!

I have some piccies I'm trying to post on the Basics Forum. I have all six of them lined up as attachments but can't for the life of me remember how to get them into the message. If someone would be kind enough to tell me - in words of one syllable :P - I'll write it down so I don't have to ask again.

Many thanks

Tricia

Before you post your message, click on additional options. Click on browse. Locate your picture and double click to add. Repeat the process till you have attached all your pictures then post.

This thread might help...

I tend to use either Pix Resizer or Picasa2 - the former is more user friendly. IrfanView is also very reliable, but perhaps a bit teckie.

Right click over the file name of the picture you wish to add. Click on the option resize. Once resized then save as whatever you want to name it. Then when you post - add the picture you have resized.

Go get a free account at imageshack.  You can upload your piccies there, and even resize them to neat forum sizes, and then just link them into your post.
My allotment blog Plot326.  In it's infancy at the mo but in time it'll grow.

Hi,

If you install,

ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

at least on Windows XP then you can right click any image and resize.

Very easy to do.

Cheers

Thank you all for your input. Kt - your last post was brilliant. It was just sooooooo simple and easy to execute. I've made a note of how to post the piccies, but it is so simple I think even I will be able to remember. I resized to handheld PC size and it worked a treat. There may be other methods, but this suits me. I posted the piccies on Basics "Paper pots".

Question:  would  the next size -  640 x 480 be too large for multiple piccies?
