Wind Damage!

We lost three damson trees in the high winds last week. It has taken me this length of time to clear up the mess (most of it!). At least we have some firewood!

That's so sad and such hard work.  I love my little damson tree and am sadened when a branch breaks. Do you have any other Damson trees left?

Sad, but it's nature at work, I suppose.

If there's any consolation in such devastion it's only in the fact that the aroma of burning damson wood is heaven.
