small bubbles or big bubbles
« on: January 17, 2007, 10:09:00 »
Hi all
i am just about to re-insulate my greenhouse and i have in the past used big bubble wrap, is the small bubble not as good as i can buy it a lot cheaper than big. I dont heat my greenhouse and grow all my own bedding plants from February onwards. Help!!

The small is better for protecting things from Damage eg in the post the larger traps more air for better insulation.

Big bubbles give better insulation.  It could explain why small bubble wrap is cheaper!!
