Tonight's tea ...
« on: December 16, 2006, 17:15:52 »
Daughter in a rush to get out for babysitting, wife out watching football, so I start thinking, what for tea ...

Remnants of a small chicken from previous day, and a couple of blackening bananas are all I can see, so chicken biryani with banana curry sauce ... ?

Cooking by the seat of my pants, using whatever is to hand, and I must admit, the finished article looks and tastes good. Topped the rice with a couple of eggs since the chicken was a bit sparse ...

No actual recipe, but I don't think I could do the same again, if I was asked ...

I'm always amazed when you go into restaurants and they are able to serve up identical dishes time after time. Nothing I cook is ever the same as the last time.

It most certainly was/is, I have so much in the freezer, I need to invent ways of using it (gigglesmiley ...)

Unless it is an upmarket restaurant, most of the meals  are pre-cooked at a central  place, frozen, and then  distributed to various outlets, for them to finish off
