Top tip - Prevent water freezing
« on: December 06, 2006, 22:14:43 »
If you put a ping pong ball or kiddies plastic ball from their play tent into the water container it helps prevent freezing. As the ball is moving on the surface with the breeze or night air -  the water does not have time to freeze. Works 90% of the time. This is excellent if you need the water for livestock. :D

Balls are put in concrete and fibreglass lined ponds to absorb the pressure of the ice.
My idea was to build Liverpool into a bastion of invincibility. Napoleon had that idea. He wanted to conquer the bloody world. I wanted Liverpool to be untouchable. My idea was to build Liverpool up and up until eventually everyone would have to submit and give in. Bill Shankly.
