Keep Squirrels out of the garden
« on: April 21, 2004, 14:07:48 »
I was reccomended wolf pee for keeping the squirrels out of the garden. However there are a lack of wolves in Bath so an alternative is male pee in a carton collected and must be in the morning due to the high testosterone content. Place it on the way the enter the garden and they will keep away. You must keep replacing the pee every couple of weeks but it works and eventually they will leave you alone and you can stop the wee in the pot (I am sure the neighbours will be happy when this happens.)  ;D

Any left over wee in the pot can be used on the compost heap. Bob Flowerdew recommends using personal liquid waste (rich in nitrogen and with significant amounts of potassium and other nutrients) on the compost heap, or diluted down to twenty or forty to one, makes an excellent feed, especially for citrus - all this and more useful and mind boggling info can be found in his Organic Bible...

Ooh that is interesting. Doesn't it start to smell, though? Mr Aqui quite often pees on my compost heap for me, next I'll be asking him to pee on my bulbs!
gone to pot :D
