DIY Cabbage Collars
« on: April 19, 2004, 20:49:16 »
I read somewhere that you can make your own cabbage collars from circles of cardboard. Ever one to recycle things rather than buy new, I wonder if anyone has  tried this. If so, did it work, and how big did you make them?
Thanks
Tina

I always use large yogurt pots with the bottom sliced off. I pop them over the plants, upside down, and bury about an inch of the rim all round. This way you don't even get accidental egg laying.
