Topic: Miniature orange

Bought a miniature orange (tangerine?) tree couple of months ago, potted it on recently into slightly bigger pot.  It is indoors in good light tho not in a conservatory (can't have one in a flat!!) and I try to make sure it is well watered.  However it seems to drop quite a few immature fruits as well as the odd leaf and I'm not sure if this is normal.  Anyone know?

Here's the indecision again - have I put this in the correct site as strictly speaking the oranges tho tiny are edible, read that the chinese used to use them.

Is it in a draft, this can cause them to drop fruitlets.

Could be right there, Tenuse.  It was sitting at french windows which are opened a lot for access to the balcony.

Might be overwatering.  There was a specialist citrus grower on the television just the other week.  He said that when you think a citrus needs watering, you should leave it a week and then water.

That could be part of it as well Gillian as I was under the impression that they had to be "well watered".  anyway I have put it in a draught free spot and will not water until it is really needing it.  Suppose it is really a conservatory plant or a very warm garden - neither of which I have - can you see it in the lottie?!!
