Final harvest with all these!

Hi there,
Last Friday I've made the final harvest in my plot night before the frost came ;)
Total more then 40 of these big Malabar gourds. a lot of small ones ready for pickle.20 already eaten. All of them are only from three plants.

Very impressive what are they like as eating? Can we grow them in the sunny UK?

I had seeds for Malabar guords but they didn't germinate!  :'(  Where did you get yours from Yuet?? 

That is an AMAZING harvest, you must be very proud.  What are they liked pickled and how do you do that?  (Emma once again on the look out for an interesting preserving idea!)

this year they've germinate very late ???
I got my seeds from HK ;)
I'm not too proud of that because I got to eat these monsters in everydays for next 12 months :'( :'(
EJ ,what I did was just used salt & water, and added a bit of white vinegar. Some sugar if you like,but it just depended on how much vinegar you've put in!
These two had been preserved since 20th Oct.

It's properly take 2-3 months ;)
