Amaretto syrup
« on: October 30, 2006, 17:22:59 »
My dad kindly donated an unopened bottle of amaretto syrup to me this weekend and it wasn't til I got home that I looked at the best before date, which was Feb 2003!  Will it still be okay?  I figured that because it is syrup not much could go wrong, except maybe a bit of fermentation perhaps?  When I rang him to tell him off, he did say that he thought it looked a bit of a different colour to when he bought it - although with his memory I'm not sure how he can remember!
 ;D
