Citrus problem
« on: October 08, 2006, 18:44:27 »
I have a citrus bush - about 18" tall - it's a cross between a lemon and mandarin - fruit looks like a yellow lime! - anyway I've just brought it back into the conservatory after the summer in the garden and although the leaves look healthy the bush doesn't appear to have grown much.  It has loads of fruit weighing down the spindly branches.  If I remove the fruit will the tree bulk out do you think over the winter (the conservatory is slightly heated).  It's in about a 6" pot at the moment as I heard they like to be a bit pot bound - will this be stopping it bulking out?

Should I prune back the branches?

Any ideas - thanks
