spring cabbage planting

Hi
we want to plant some spring cabbage were the disastrous swede and turnips grew they didn't come to much,lack of water this year.
will this be OK or should we put them in a differant place
also we put parsnip seeds in the spring and with  the wet weather we have had , they have decided to grow will the come  to anything now or should we get them out

As they are both brassicas it would be better to grow them elsewhere if you have the space...
The parsnip isue is one I have considered.... they will not have time to develop a big root so should over winter and grow well next year... that's how it would happen naturally, I'd give it a go, afterall they are still hard to germinate any spring...
