ceanothus
« on: September 30, 2006, 09:45:47 »
Can anyone suggest the best ceonothus to plant against a wall in a small garden.  I remember seeing one somewhere which had blue flowers with gold on the tips.  It was was so pretty I would like that one if anyone can name it and it is not too big, or vigorous.     Many thanks.

We have one against a trellis fence here in Derby, but we went for vigour. That gold tipped cultivar sound beautiful... has anyone got a picture?

I think there's one called Pershore with variegated leaves, but have no notes on one with gold on tips of flowers? (don't have a pic I'm afraid.)
