Picking up Tim's mention of popup pages  (in the wallpaper thread), Google Toolbar works to eliminate popups in Internet Explorer.  Information and download from http://toolbar.google.com/.

(smug grin mode on) :P Or use Opera as your browser?  So much better and faster - and has all these nifty little features built in! :P (smug grin mode off)
